Traders International FOREX Information for AUS/NZ, SE Asia and UK Clients 

Live Trade Placement.

Once you have clicked the above link, and completed that online application process, you will be given the opportunity to download the Trading Station 2 Demo Platform. This is a brilliant platform provided to us by FXCM. A username and password will be provided for you once you request your demo account.

Once you have downloaded the demo platform, you can then use this same platform to trade both LIVE and in SIM. All you need to do to switch between Sim and Live is change the username and password to those issued to you when you fund your Live account.

Once your account is funded, and you have both the Sim and Live username and password combinations, you then have the choice to trade in Sim or Live by selecting either "Demo" or ''LIVE" when logging into the platform.

To Open a Live Trading Account with FXCM, please follow these steps:

2.    It is recommended that you fund your account with at least $3000 AUD. You can open an account with as little as $300 AUD, but it is not considered sufficient to properly manage your account in terms of risk/reward.

3.   Please set your account to AUD. 

4.   If you are trading as an individual, please use individual account as your selection.

5.   The comment "10,000 trade'' refers to allowing you to trade a minimum of $1.00 USD pips. It does not refer to you requiring minimum balance or minimum transaction size.

6.   In step 4 of this online application, the application asks for the referring agent to be specified: Please stipulate "Falconer Bellomo and Traders International" in this step, to ensure that FXCM know that you are a Traders International client.

7.   Only if you are trading as a corporate entity or on behalf of a trust, you will need to fill out an additional form as linked below: DOWNLOAD FORM

FOREX Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

•1.    Will it cost me any extra to trade in the TI FOREX room? No. the TI FOREX Room will be available to all Traders International members who are paying subscribers to the Traders International Trading Rooms.

•2.    Do I need a new account established in order to trade FOREX? Yes. To take advantage of the Traders International privileges that have been negotiated with FXCM, you will need to open an account with the FXCM Sydney office. Benfits include:

•a.    Free FOREX Trading charts with coded and encrypted proprietary indicators for use by Current TI members only. These are under the final stage of development. 

•b.    TI exclusive Free call 1800 number to place your trades. This willenable you to utilise the FREE SMS service and trade while at work or at play! The number is 1800 109 751.

•c.    Dedicated FXCM Support Staff to assist Traders International clients and dedicated FXCM FOREX webinars to get you up and trading as fast as possible.

•d.    No commission trading for TI Members.

•e.    Dedicated software that allows you to trade FOREX utilising your mobile phone. (Note: Your phone must be internet capable and suitable to having the FXCM Mobile phone package loaded to your phone).  

•5.    What times can I trade in Australia? As at Tue 6 Oct 09 (post East Coast Day Lights Saving Change), the TI FOREX Room will specialise in the Asian Market in the morning 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. and the London Market in the afternoon and evening 3 p.m. - 9 p.m., inclusive. This is intended to be a deliberate compliment to the extant Emini trading rooms and gives TI Traders a strong trading opportunity during the normally quiet Australian day light hours. Please refer to the ‘'Forex Trading Times" file that will be sent to you along with all other relevant Forex documentation.

•6.    How much do I need to open a FOREX account with? FOREX accounts can be opened with a small sum of money. Opening an account with $1000 AUD may allow for you to trade $1 pips as a beginner trader and only have a very small fraction of your trading account at risk. Industry practice suggests that professional traders should only have 2.5% of their entire trading account at risk at any one time. (Note: Traders International Pty Ltd cannot provide personal advice regarding the appropriate size of any trading account/s).

•7.    Do I need a new broker? As per point 2 above, FXCM is the only recommended broker for Traders International Pty Ltd clients.

•8.    Will I get an SMS signal alerts when a TI FOREX trade is called? If you would like to, yes.

•9.    What days will the room be open? The FOREX moderator has directed that there will be no trading FOREX on the first day of each trading week. This allows for aggressive analysis of the general market conditions before a trade is placed. Trading in Australia will hence occur Tuesday to Friday inclusive.

•10. Can I trade TI FOREX and TI Eminis at same time? Yes. Beginner traders should consider specialising in one market only, based on the time that they prefer to trade, or the instrument that they deem easiest to understand.

•11. Can I trade TI FOREX from my mobile phone? Through FXCM, you can request the download of software that will allow you to trade off an appropriate mobile phone. Only technology proficient traders should consider this as a trading option.

•12. Will there be a dedicated TI FOREX E-course, when do I get it, and how? The TI Forex E-course is an add-on to your current Eminis E-course (via the secure viewer icon on your desk top). When the FOREX E-course is made available to you, it will simply be added to your extant E-course. There will be an extra section titled "Forex". The TI FOREX E-course will be sent out to all Traders International members. The course is due to be sent out on Tue 6 Oct 09 in conjunction with the planned opening of the TI FOREX room. It is TI HQ intent that traders become familiar with the running of the TI FOREX Rooms, and the dynamics of the markets selected by TI, prior to commencing trading. This is why the E-course will be released in a similar timeframe to the opening of the room. 

•13. Is TI FOREX replacing TI Eminis? No. TI FOREX is a complimentary product designed to give loyal TI Traders more trading opportunities in a more applicable time zone.

•14. Can I trade TI FOREX during the US cash market? No. The room is not open.

•15. Can we use Ninja to trade FOREX and Eminis? No. The functionality is not available at this time.
